Barbara is an award-winning acrylic and mixed media painter known for her vibrant sense of color and design. She draws inspiration from coastal New England, spanning Kennebunkport to Cape Cod. Working en plein air to capture the essence of a scene, she returns to her studio to develop each piece.

She received her formal training at Massachusetts College of Art & Design, earning a B.F.A. in Design. Barbara went on to spend many years as an Art Director and Designer in the advertising industry, where her work earned awards for major brands.

Barbara is currently a juried gallery artist at the Cape Cod Art Center and the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, Massachusetts. Her work is also featured at Expressions Fine Art & Craft in Scituate Harbor. Additional affiliations include the North River Art Society, Hull Artists, Plymouth Center for the Arts, and the Duxbury Art Association.
